Sella Ronda: adventurous ski excursions in the Dolomiti Superski area
One of the most beautiful ski tours in the Alps is the round tour of the Sella Mountain Group – between Trentino, South Tyrol and Veneto - the so-called "Sella Ronda".
The numerous cable car facilities and lifts bring you to slopes of any level of difficulty and can be enjoyed with just one ski pass: the Dolomiti Superski ski pass.
One of the most beautiful round tours available for skiers is the round tour of the Sella Mountain Group with the maximum elevation at Piz Boè (3151 m), the origin of the four Ladin valleys Gardena, Fassa, Livinallongo and Badia - an exceptional ambience from a historical and traditional point of view.
The two famous valleys Val Lasties and Val Mezdì surround the Sella Mountain Massif and are probably the most popular downhill slopes in the Dolomites. The Sella Ronda round tour includes approximately 26 km of slopes with a difference in altitude of 4,500 m. The round tour connects the four mountain passes Sella, Pordoi, Campolongo and Gardena.
The Sella Ronda is not very difficult and therefore also ideal for skiers of medium ability.
